Missional Church Initiative

The mission statement of CBF and TCBF is "to help churches and individuals discover and fulfill their God-given mission."  We believe that each church has both the opportunity and responsibility to discover the gifts and calling of its members and to be the presence of Christ in their context.  This means nothing less than being on mission with God in their unque setting.

A missional church embraces these patterns:

  • Missional Vocation.
  • Biblical Formation and Discipleship.
  • Taking Risks as a Contrast Community.
  • Practices that Demonstrate God's Intent for the World.
  • Worship as Public Witness.
  • Dependence on the Holy Spirit.
  • Pointing Toward the Reign of God.
  • Missional Authority.
